I always break it in like Im gonna ride it. I would definetly let it warm up a little before you do any throttle jamming, but if you plan on hitting full throttle then you need to during the break in as well once in a while.

Make sure that any aftermarket parts and oem parts you buy for it you specify that it is an SRA if it is, and, adamantly make sure they understand that and that they are looking up the right model IE: KVF650D7F for an '07Brute 650 SRA 4x4, KVF650D8F for the '08 Brute 650 SRA 4x4, many parts do not cross over from the 4x4i and the 4x4, stupid things like the fan, the rear carrier bolts, headlight parts, bumper, winch plates, and lots of other things,

said it b4 and I'll say it again...

ride it like you stole it....let everything seat by riding it like you plan to ride it.
dont stay on it, but give it some hard running within those 10 hours or so....

trust me...I ahvent had any issues with this line of thinking...from cars, trucks, quads, electric trains...LOL

Congrat on the new ATV

my recommendation for first mods
1) TwinAir air filter
2) Dynatek CDI.. makes a big difference on the SRA model. It really wakes it up at the low end...
