I don't think so. They may be worth more because they will last longer, but I haven't noticed a difference in ride, except the radial seemed a little softer. I am comparing Bighorns to MST's though. Both are high quality strong tires. The gators I had were good for the price, but they blew up and down in size like a ballon, and were heavy. I have had 589 MT's also. Great in the mud, but heavy as heck. ITP uses a stiffy compound it seems. Maxxis uses softer, lighter stuff, but it retains it size better than GBC tires. This is just my experiences.

Yeah, I've heard radials aren't all they're cracked up to be. I've never ran them, except on cars n trucks, so I don't know.

Bighorns are like the Terracross. I am thinking about a set of those for our 360 Pairie.

The Mudzilla's don't look like they have the tread depth of the Mudlite XTR's? Maybe I wasn't looking at the right tires.

FYI Two different tires Mudzilla and Zilla.

Tread depth doesn't matter in the mud as much as the tread design. Both will do better in mud than a mudlite.

I have 27" Outlaw MST's on my BF650i and couldnt be happier. They rip over and threw everything I throw at them.

I agree with Roofer......My next set will be a radial. Even though they are more money I have seen the miles a couple of my buddies have put on them and its alot more than what I have on my itp xl's. I really cant tell a difference in ride quality between the both but they last a lot longer. Big horns do rock, they are definatley the longest lasting tire on the market hands down.

How do the 27" get along with your machine? DO they cut into your power? Do they feel taller?

Anybody have any input on Mudlites? They come stock on a couple Yamaha models and don't look like they'll tear everything up too bad..........

I am using the less rugged version of the Maxxis Mudzilla called the 'Zillas. They seem very impressive so far on my Rincon.

I swear by the Bighorns, we run 4 sets in the group. Heavy tire but tough as nails, never had a puncture in 1200 miles of mountainous terrain. Smooth on hard pack, mean in mud, super A+ tire. Wears like iron as well.
