Default Can a battery be installed in a Mojave

As you can see, I am wondering if it is possible to install a battery in a Mojave 250. I am worried about how bright the headlight is going to be and if it would be sufficient for night riding. If it is pretty dim, I was thinking of making a holder for a battery and connecting it to the quad's existing alternator and the head/taillights so they would remain bright all of the time, instead of only when the engine is revved to the sky. I am not sure if the generator would be able to keep the battery charged but if it could for at least a couple of hours that would probably be all I would need. I would also need a regulator so that the battery doesn't get too much voltage right? If this isn't possible to do without too much work, then what are there for after-market light bulbs that would be brighter? Thanks. -Ben

You're right the stock light is basically useless. I always wanted to try and install a battery, but never did. My plan was to buy a Lakota battery holder to mount it. I was going to run the light switch through the battery then back to the light that way the battery only charged when the light was on. You may have to put some type of voltage regulator in-line to prevent the battery from over charging.
