Default Need a cooling fan

Kawasaki wants $355.00 for a new fan on a 97 kfv 400a. I've been told a automotive fan will work with alittle modification. Any input will help greatly.

They are a lot. That sounds like list price.I put one in my V Force but dealer gave it to me for there cost. Most of the ones I have seen that are after market ones were so so because the mounts were fabricated and the wiring and it looked like it.

Thanks for the reply, I guess I'll just pull it off and head to the auto parts store. If I can find one close for a better price I can make it work.
