These usually come in the color of machined aluminum, but since I have a camo machine, don't want shine coming from it, so I do gun refinishing and used the OD Green Teflon finish for the pegs....sandblast, spray on with airbrush, and bake, tough stuff.....

Now there is no foot slippage, they ain't cheap, made form a block of aluminum, but work great....
