I have an 07 Brute 650. When it's idleing the lights kinda flicker or pulsate. Is this normal ?? I also notice the lights dim when I'm riding and the fan kicks in, but just for a second. Just wondering if this is normal or if my charging system is weak, bad ground etc...

 

I have an 05 and the lights dim when I'm riding and the fan kicks in ! this is only noticable when im butting along though but never niticed them flicker when idleing

 

Thanks, that is when I notice mine too. The "flickering/pulsating" is not real noticeable, maybe my idle is a little too low? I am just glad somebody responded either way. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

 

I have never noticed my lights flicker when bike is idleing...until the fan kicks in and it will do that just for a second . I do not notice that happening once I am riding and the revs are up.

 

I also noticed my speedo cluster flickers at idle. Guess I'll call the dealer, not many responses so it must not be normal.

 

I have never seen my lights flicker. I would think that it is not normal.

 

Good Choice! I would get it back to the dealer asap. I have a 07 650 SRA and currently am not experiencing any power problems that you mentioned.
Let us owners know what the resolution was from Kawasaki...
