Good mods for a faster Mojave?
depends on what you're trying to do with it my friend. You could have it jetted since it's getting more air.
underneathe the headlight, there is a tube for the intake that is pretty restricted (the plastic basically goes right into a flat surface) so I just did a little fab work on that so it would get more air and made a little screen for the hole just incase leaves or twigs fell into there. I wouldn't recomend it if your behind people on dusty trails alot or on the dunes all the time. (i just check my filter constantly). I'll show you some pics if you want.
other than sprockets, filters, pipes, and jets....you're gonna have to start doing motor mods as far as I know.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm just looking for it to be a faster quad for the woods. It isn't bad at all right now, I'm just trying to plan for the future and would like to know what can be done fairly cheaply and easily. I believe the engine's already been jetted but I don't know for sure because I bought the quad with the exhaust and filter. It runs great though and doesn't sputter or smoke once it's warmed up, (it never smokes blue anyway and it has great compression). How long does it take top install cams? I was thinking around two or three hours for the whole job without including breaking the cams in. I wouldn't think it would be too hard either but if you have any suggestions about installing cams I would like to know about them since I am seriously considering a pair from webb camshafts. Thanks for the help.

not a problem man, we're all here to learn and have fun.
I've never installed cams in a quad before, but it would depend on how big you went in my opinion. The bigger you go, I would assume you would need new harder springs.
if its just a tad bit bigger, then i would say the springs should be fine, but I would change them anyways just to get those valves closed faster.
You'd have to ask someone else about the timing/ and how long it would take. Sorry I couldn't help more.
