Default 750 belt light

I have got a buddy that just bought a 750 Kaw. The Belt light came on and then the quad would not get over 5 mph. Big problem?

No. The check belt light being on causes the quad to go into a safe or "limp" mode. Once the light is reset, the quad should go fine. I think it usually comes on around the 100hr. mark to have the belt checked to make sure it is ok.

Yes, but I have a 700 V and I believe that the proceedure has one other thing to do than mine, but if you go to kawieriders.com and type in belt light reset in the search bar, I think you'll find your answer on there unless someone here can chime in real quick. I can tell you how mine is done but as I said I think there is one other step on the brute. You can always type belt light reset on the search in here and I am sure you will find it cause this was asked not long ago.
