Is the 650 the SRA Model or the (i) like the BF750i?
Both have there +'s & -'s but it really comes down to this:
If your riding is more smooth trails/roads, easy forest type trails then the Prairie/BF 650 SRA Model will do you just fine & they powerslide easier too on this type of riding.
If you ride more rough stuff, rocks & so forth, then you are better off with the IRS BF750 & even a BF650 IRS is fine as well.
For that Price I would go for the '07BF750.
The IRS Models are smoother & won't beat u up like the SRA BF650.
But, if possible get the '08BF750FI, Easy starting, lighter steering, light thumb throttle, softer seat, smoother shocks, better gas mileage & faster than the '07BF650 or 750.
I know 1st hand, this '08BF750FI is the Best Buy for the Dollar for a Fuel Injected VTwin 750.

IMHO with out a doubt go for the 750. If I was shopping and was given that price on either, the 750 would be my only choise.
