question will a stock mojave pull a bigger frt sproket.. they come with a 12 amd since i live in the desert id like to get a little more top end speed and go with the 13 tooth...any help thanks....

 

put on the 13. You will really like it! much better than the 12

 

can you go to a 14 tooth it looks like a close fit

i have a question about this...

if you go to a 13 sprocket do you need a larger chain or is the stock one good

 

just put a 13 tooth on my bike and i love it. my quad doesn't top out too soon, it's like having a extra gear. just put some slack in your chain and use a breaker bar (have a buddy stand on the brake )to take off the stock gear (right hand threads, it's a ball buster). then slip on the 13tooth and bend the tabs over to lock the nut on. i don't think a 14tooth would be a good idea unless you put shorter tires in the back. have fun.
