Who has the dynatek cdi and what # for the 08 BF 650 SRA ? I was told it is the samea as a o3- 07 prairie # dfs2-13. But they did not make the prairie 650 in 07 did they?

Kaw. made the Prairie 650 in 2002 and 2003...they also made the Prairie 700 from 2004 to 2006. I know for a fact that the same Dyna CDI for the 2003 P650 works fine on the P700. (the 2002 P650 only has 2 connectors in the CDI instead of 3 like the 2003 and later model Prairies)

The motor in the BF650sra is extremely similar to the Prairie 650/700 motors, so I would guess that the Dyna CDI made for the Prairie 650/700 should also work fine on your BF650sra.

Happy trails...

Well the dyna tek cdi is in and WOW!! Hang on !! Everything else is stock . In high range it will practically flip over when you punch the throttle with out pulling up. Low range is really scary. It feels better than my 02 prairie and that was clutched , muff.mod., jetted, and had the moose little black box in it .I am very pleased with the dynatek cdi in the bf sra .When I had one in my griz it really did not make it run any better.
