Default KFX400 problem please help asap

I need some help i was riding my quad today and it starting cutting out. When i would go to about half throttle it would just break up and stale the quad. Wouldnt even get into 2nd gear. After sitting awhile would have no problems and run well for 10 mins then after that would start acting up againl. The quad is an 04 if that matters never heard of anyone having the same problem and advice would go much apprecatited!!! Thanks for anything you can offer!

it could be the emergency brake may be pulled a little look at the back rotor and pull back on the emergency brake so its not engaged any bit somtimes on my kfx400 with liek a half tank and less it shakes around and bogs out or u may even need a new battery

I think what cataway was trying to say, is the rubber vent hose on your gas cap can get pinched off or even clogged sometimes. You need to check this and ensure air can flow through freely. The symptoms you are giving sound exactly like a plugged vent hose. Quad runs fine for a short while, but begins cutting out and may not start as pressure builds up in the gas tank. Letting the quad sit for 10-15 minutes is usually enough for the pressure to bleed off in other ways, and it will run fine until pressure builds up again.

I just recently just started getting this problem with mine. Took the carb off, was gonna change the jets again, but decided not to. Put it back together, ran fine for two weeks. All of a sudden, it just starts to cut out one day. Idle's fine, starts up with choke, but will not accept throttle unless it's reving high enough.

The bad thing is....I have to be up North this thursday, and it's still not fixed yet (been extremely busy). I got my work cut out for me. Uuuuggghhhh!!!!
