Default 650 bf sra shocks are "soft"

I own a 2008 brute force sra, and the stock rear shock is very soft. I am a big guy 6'3 350lb and I dont like how much it squats with my big *** on it. I was looking for opinions on wether shock spacers would work to stiffen them up, or will I just have to resort in an aftermarket rear shock.

If you haven't already you can increase the preload on the rear spring for a better ride height. If that doesn't do it you can get away much cheaper than a new shock with just a stiffer rear spring.

I have not increased the preload yet, its in a very difficult spot to get to, And when I look at it, it doesnt seem to have a lot of room to increase. but was not sure if that little bit of threading (bout 1/2-1inch) would equal to more of an overall increase in preload or not I was hoping to gain around 3inch of ride height with me on it. As of right now it looks to squat almost a full 6inches with my fat ***.
