reset belt light

Default reset belt light

i was wondering if some one could tell me where the wires are located on a 06 brute force 750 to reset the belt light and the steps invollved. info would be greatly appreciated.

The wire is right above the belt box. You unplug them and plug the thing into it and turn the key on. I'm not 100% sure on this though because it's been a long time since I've had to reset one of them. I think the light will flash a few time though and you turn the key back off and plug the wire back in. Maybe someone that has done this recently will chim in though. Good luck.

It should be the same on all belt driven Kawi engines.

okie i see a post on here of a diogram that showed how to do it some one scaned on here and had step by step instructions



opps mi bad i see it on a diffrent fourm ill put a the websit up for u so u can see the instruction page

let me know if this works

Default reset belt light

Unplug then 2 wire connector at the belt housing. Turn key back and then separate the grey connector under the seat, unplug the black connector, plug the matching connectors from the grey into the black. Turn key ahead and should flash fast then stop. Plug in 2 wire connector at cover, turn key off, plug in grey and black back to orginal the turn key ahead. Light should be out.

this one worked does ne one have one of thoes for a 03 p360
