750 brute backfiring?

Default 750 brute backfiring?

when on decel with the engine brake the exhaust pops and blows flames? carbs were rebuilt and jetted by my dealer and there are no exhaust leaks...

06, 1750 miles, started backfiring around 1200 miles with the stock exhaust, did a new hmf penland exhaust and dynojet jet kit and it made it better but still backfires

You probably just notice it more with the pipe!

I was told that when we let off the gas quick on a Kawi, that the gas still runs into the cylinders and when the plugs ignites, it burns off that excess gas. Sound like a good theory.

If you've just put a pipe on and you're sure you don't have an exhaust leak, try backing your pilot screws out 3 full turns on each carb.
