Default lakota crankcase pressure

hey just got a 01 lakota, took the cap off the filler while it is running and it feels like it is blowing pressure out of it. i know at first thought your thinking that is stupid but i have never had one act like that before. checked the breather that comes out of the valve cover and it is breathing. just curious if this is just normal windage that i am feeling or if it is losing compression through the bottom end. it runs perfect, starts perfect, doesnt smoke, get hot or anything. oil splashing i understand but the air i dont. i havent done a compression test yet but just wanted to get some opinions.

thanks

I don't know if it is normal, but both of mine do the same.. open it up, and it blows....

Default lakota crankcase pressure

figured this one out.

There is ALOT of moving parts, not 5 inches from the oil filler. lots and lots of BIG pieces moving in and around a wet clutch...

i think the most pressure, while running with the oil filler open, is largely due to the primary clutch and back gears spinning ...

so, there is the answer, or at least where I see it since i replace my clutch and add HD springs
