Lakota Bigbore 340 10:1 CWR kits?
#1
Everyone
http://cycleworksracing.net/ has long been known for the 335 kit, which runs very high compression. I am LAZY and asked Greg to consider making a lower compression, therefore both increasing displacement a little, and doesn't require racing gas (92 octane, and might need octane booster in some areas) ..
I just made up the name 340, as it will be slightly more displacement than the 335 kit.
I am thinking of doing this, with a 390 cam, and have Greg do the port and polish on the head...
While it may not be as hot as the 11:1 kit, it also doesn't require racing gas. Racing gas is a hassle to keep here in Houston .. and 92+octane boost works fine.
Anyway, if you lakota fans have any interest, contact CWR directly

I ordered my kit last week ... Meanwhile, I had to "goto" the cltuch side anyway, and have replaced the secondary clutch with a vesrah, installed greg's HD springs, .. was going to put a 14T on "blue" and a 13T on red (red stays mostly stock, as its my wifes) but only received the 13T, so that will wait till another day to do speed trials on the differences.
I am sending my head and jug into greg/CRW to have the port work, cam, and big bore kit installed in the next couple weeks... he has to order the kit, and I don't want to be down longer than required
anyone got a lakota head in working condition? I've got a good jug, and wouldn't mind having a "parts" motor while the big bore work is being done
