Default Tusk nerf bars for kfx700

Has anyone tried the tusk comp series nerf bars on a 2004 kfx 700?
I picked up another 700 fairly cheap so the kids can use this one instead of mine when they come to visit so price is a factor on accessories.
I even took the full HMF exhaust, racks and brush bars off if anyone is interested.

six pack racks, I have 2 now. I was just saving some typing
Have you put the tusk nerf bars on a 700? I read a couple reviews that they are a pain to install on the 700 but they are good nerf bars for the money.

OK ...... no I have not, but I put them on a 400ex once and I'd say for the price they are nice nerfs........they were not hard to install on the 400ex.

FWIW my father put Pro Armour on his KFX700, and they are very similar to the Tusk and only a few bucks more.....

I got my Tusk comp series nerf bars today. Nice and shiny, so far. Super easy to install so I'm not sure what the other guys had problems with. It took me longer to put the webbing on than to install them. They don't compare to my Moose racing bars on my wife's 700 but they'll do the job just fine for the money, $109 shipped from Rocky Mountain and super fast shipping.

I would bump up to AC Racing. My neighbor has Tusk on his 400EX and he has ripped 3 sets on nets and doesnt rid it that much. I cand get AC for $140 when retail was $189.

I almost bought the AC. This is an atv that will be rode a couple times a year, mostly on fire roads so I wasn't looking to spend a bunch of money but liked the safety factor of nerfs.
I noticed the webbing lighter duty than the Moose bars. How did your friend go thru so many sets?
No takers on the HMF exhaust or other accessories?

For the nets where the thing that holds the net, it would cut the nets from rubbing. If it is only going to be rode a couple times a year i wouldnt put the exhaust on it. I would save the money and put nerfs, heelguards or something?

I put the atv back to stock. I took off the HMF full dual exhaust, brush gaurd and six pak rack. I'll list it for sale if nobody wants the stuff here.
