Default brute force leaking fuel

I recently took the carbs off my brute to clean them up now it seems low on power I took carb cleaner and sprayed around while it was running to see if it was drawing air somewhere, it is not, in fact it is running quite rich. It sounds like it is running with the choke part way on, and it is leaking fuel out of the overflow tube that runs down and under the foot rest, would this be as described in another forum that i need to go into this thing again and look closer at the choke plungers?
