is replacing the clutch pack on a 01' Mojave a very tricky job - i have a new DP clutch kit ready for installation just haven't ever done one. also any suggestions for other replacements while the machine is apart would be helpful.

As far as I know your Mojave clutch should be very straight foward just be sure to pay attention when you take it apart and put it back together the same way. Somtimes the jobs you dread are the easyest.

im 15 and i just installed a new dp clutch i did it without a manual but it took alot time because i didnt know how tight the clutch spring bolts should be and i took some stuff all the way apart that didnt need to be. i know now how to do it because ive had it apart so many times re doing what i messed up on. i would most definently get a shop manual for it. its like 60 bucks and will save you alot of time.

i noticed a big difference. as soon as you let the clutch out it is grabing. when im on it in a drag it pops the front tires off the groud in second and third a little. the only thing i dont like is how hard it is to pull the clutch in. its pretty stiff but i just bought an eZ pull clutch lever so hopefully that will fix the problem. you did get the whole kit springs and all correct?
