Hello I have a 1994 kawasaki mojave 250 me and my buddy are geting our atvs ready to go trailing this spring and my rear suspension is just to bouncey and i dont like it because i cant carry to much on my homemade rack i almost bottom out bump with me and a 5 gallon gas can so i was wondering if any one knew about any other stiffer shocks i could get for my mojave preferably cheap like $50 or so my friend said about a 300ex shock but i dont know if it will fit so if some has any input it will help thanks

yea the 250r shocks work but you need to find one that has the no link setup i believe. The link connects the shock and the swingarm which produces a plusher suspension...you need to get the direct shock that bolts to the arm...if someone knows for sure plze comment if im incorrect thanks

you dnt need to worry about the length so much..its more or less the width where it bolts to the arms and the frames...on the 250r shock i think at the bottom you will need spacers on each side of the shock since its not as wide as the stock one.....nt positive. Im only going by what ive read in earlier post on this subject...i rather just buy an aftermarket shock that fits and be dne with it but i know not everyone has deep pockets including me...which sucks of course.

well what is the difference in the shocks with and with out the linkage. are they the same length? and does anyone know the year model of the ones without the linkage. i am really going to buy one off ebay asoon as i know what to get because im down to about 400 bucks and i still have to get my mojave out of the shop because im new to working on them and i messed something up and im just going to let them get in right and i bought the shop manual so that wont happen again. so that leaves me $130. so yea lol im broke
