<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>Ok I see where this is gonna go! Yes I did read your link, and as you put in writing it's your opinion! </end quote></div>
You want the facts so I will give them to you:
It's not my opinion that a crappy Fram filter has way less filter media that the Kowie filter; It's a fact. (I've cut both apart)
It's not my opinion that a crappy Fram filter has a cardboard end plate on their filters; It's a fact.
It's not my opinion that a crappy Fram filter has the end plate glued on their filters; It's a fact.
It's not my opinion that a crappy Fram filter has way less filter media, and when you have lass filter media it will hold less contamanates before it start to by-pass. It's also a fact that when the filter starts to by-pass it's not a filter anymore.
It's not my opinion that a crappy Fram filter has a crap anti-drain back valve that can let contaminated oil back into the sump.
<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>Show me real truth and I'll shut up!!!!!!!!!!!!! </end quote></div>
This it the real truth....................so now it's time to shut up like you said you would.
<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>Why are you using automotive filters in your "research"? </end quote></div>
Because it does not matter if they are an automotive filter or a motorcycle filter if it's Fram, it's junk, that's why.
Here's your motorcycle filter study.
Oh wait, check this out: FRAM OIL FILTERS CAUSING TERMINAL MOTORCYCLE ENGINE DAMAGE
All of the above FACTS can be found on the net with a simple Google search. Or one can simple cut filters open. It does not take a rocket scientist to see what's inside of an oil filter. I even think you can do it Wrenchnalldatime!!!!
Below are opinions of various people on the net; not facts. Although all of are the same opinion; Fram filters are junk.
Fram filter problems
Some opinions about oil filters
I could provide many more with the same comments and thoughts of the Fram oil filter but why? I think the FRAM OIL FILTERS CAUSING TERMINAL MOTORCYCLE ENGINE DAMAGE link proves my point.
I have often wondered how people get their screen name. For instance, in my case I have built a lot of engines that happen to have turbo's on them; hence the name.
Now a name like Wrenchnalldatime; hmmmmmmmmmm; I guess it fits!!!!! ROTFLMAO!!!!!

FYI: Kawasaki does not have an oil filter plant, so they do not make thier own filters. Find out who makes them for the OEM, and buy that one. Just like GM, Ford, Toyota, etc.... they are made 3rd party to thier specifications.
And as for "internet" documents on quality........is as only as good as the posters.
If Fram filters were ruining engines, I would think a company as large as Fram (Honeywell), and making Prestone & Autolite also, and being arount for 80+ years, I think they would be doing something about it.
Like most things on the net...if someone has something negitive to say, you'll here it but if it's positive, highly doubt thay will make a website about it.
Change your oil on a regular basis and regardless of the filter (but don't buy a cheap azz to save $3.00, it is your engine qwe are talking about), you should be ok. I've been working on cars a long time now and only had one filter fail (rusted out) causing an engine failure. Most times, there is another reason.
Just my $.02 worth.
