I am interested in the prairie 360. I found one used and was wandering how owners and anyone with first hand experience felt about them. I have been told that they have had alot of problems. Once again just first hand experience please. Thanks.

Have had mine for four years now and just starting to get in to replacement parts )I need a new belt, two front shocks and a battery --- don't know where I can source this economically?).

The bike has a big frame and has selectablie 4wd and a front locker. Very low geared --- inlow range it punches a way above its weight. The cost is virtually no tyop end --- you might get 70 ks ann hour. A little tippy compared to some as it is so big. Possibly better shocks would help that. Also better tires but I have been nervous about bigger tires as it goes slow enough already.
Depends on what you are going to use it for. For trail riding on a tight technical course or hauling anything it is great. If you are more in to wider better logging roads you might want something with a little more poke.

Mines an 2005. it doesnt idle all the time. i heard this is an easy fix and also i heard its a common problem. i noticed there isnt that much power in the mud. but other than that its great. i have 25 swamplites on mine. kn filter. hmf pipe. relly gives it a boost. ive driven it alot since i had it and i need to replace my swingarm bearing fairly soon. maintence wise since i had it i didnt have to do anything relly except change the oil

You might want to also consider the Suzuki Eiger/King Quad 400. Similar size/class as the Prairie 360.
I narrowed my choice down to the Prairie 360 or KQ400, and selected the KQ because of its reputation for durability, simplicity, and aftermarket support. It was a tough choice, as I've always been partial to Kawasaki (currently own 2 Kawi MC's). New '08 KQ400's are selling for $4,500.

had hours since 2005. beat the heck out of it at times and it took it. original belt and tires yet. its our plow mule now and its a tank. yes its tippy compared to my 650i, but that has wheel and tire kit on it. i highly recommend it. very dependable, comfy ride and pulls strong....
