Default 96 KLF4OO Bayou fuel in oil

Second time this has happened. Fuel contamination into crankcase oil. First time the carb float was stuck wide open. Filled the cylinder jug, backed raw fuel puddle into air box and drained fuel out the carb over flow hose. First time fix I cleared cylinder jug, dryed the air flter and wacked the heck out of the carb body to reseat the carb float needle. Started up and ran fine or so I thought. Changed the oil due over full in the crankcase oil site glass. Month and a half later I notice that the oil level site glass is over full again. No fuel in cyclinder or air cleaner this time. This new alocholed fuel is S*#&. I'm guessing that the float needle seat is not sealing. Net research tells me the needle seat is not replaceable. Quad runs fine haven't tested compression but has good to fair power. I plan on getting a inline filter this week and installing. Tear down the carb ???? Swap in a Honda carb ???? Anone else having this problem ??? It runs fine just affraid of damage to engine due to thinned oil. Thx in advance for any help.

IMHO about 80% of the float problems are caused by trash in the fuel so the inline is a great X10 idea.

I would take the tank off and super clean it out. Put the inline on. Replace the hoses. Clean the carb again and pay attention to the float pin. 99.99999999% of the time it not the needle or the seat.
