Hey everyone, this is my first post here.... how are you all? =) I just got a 2006 KFX 400 and I LOVE the bike. My only issue is I want some new nice rims and I'm not sure where to start my search or what looks the best. Any ideas?

I ride in a field next to my house and on a 412 acre estate about 20 mins from me. Mostly grass, dirt, rocks and trails. Any suggestions for nice rims and tires for that type of riding.

Any suggestions for other mods besides the ones listed below?
- Pro Nerf Bars
- Hand protectors (not sure what you call those things)
- FMF Exhaust with silencer insert (needed it for the neighborhood)
- Jet kit
- New air filter
- LED tail light

I'm 38 and like going REALLY fast! Had some street bikes but got tired of almost getting killed by other drivers in my city. SO I sold them and went back to dirt. =)

 

itp sells tire&rim packages that are nice, if u got the cash those carbon fiber Hyper rims are nice

I don't see any carbon fiber ones at ITP for a Quad.

Go on rocky mountain atv and you will find some awesome deals and some great tire and wheel packages

 

One thing that keeps me buying ITP is that they have an excellent warranty. You bend them, they replace them! Gotta like that. Just gotta work on bending one, it's tough!

I know exactly where you're coming from! Same here, 38, go too fast, left the streetbike scene for atv's. Not that atv's aren't dangerous, especially with my thumb on the throttle, but atleast it's likely my own destiny I'm making, not some idiot that didn't see me! LOL! But, I do miss streetbikes sometimes. Anyway, welcome to the forum. Post up some pics of your 400 when you have time.

Hey there...new to the forum too...thought it would be fun to chat and also informative down the road....a lot of tech smart people on here.....I am 48 today and purchased my first atv....I skiped over the smaller ones ..this is a 06 Brute force 650 sra with only 190 miles for 3400.00 ....have not had much chance to ride it because it keeps snowing and snowing here...even the sleds are getting buried....anyways....I was not brand specific when I went shopping just was looking for a good deal...I think and hope I got one in the Brute....hey by the way that is a sweet looking ride....love the green.....well play safe and happy trails....
