Smile Proud new owner of a BF 750i!!!!

I just picked up my new Brute today!! New '08 750i in Super Black!

Now, comes the hard part... Keeping it under half throttle for 10 hours! (ummm, already broke that rule a couple of times today ;-P ).

The power is unbelievable!! I'm going to have to get better at feathering the throttle coming out of turns and through the rough stuff... This might be the most fun lesson I have ever had to learn!

Thanks guys! I have about 3 hours/40 miles on it so far. Doing my best to keep it under half throttle during the break-in period, but its hard!

Please tell me that the occasional indescretion (I don't think I've gone over 3/4s) with the throttle won't kill the motor!

Thanks!

I dont follow that break in, I drove my 08 brute 650 like I stole it after about 5 hours heh, just didnt leave it wide open for to long, and had not one issue, regular oil changes and thats it,

now have 1100 miles and 115 hours

enjoy the new ride!!

You don't have to be that careful about the break-in on your BF. Just follow your common sense like don't do WOT right after you start up the machine on cold morning. > Give some time for oil to ciruclate.
> Make sure oil level is at proper level.
> Air filter is properly serviced AND installed.
> Don't go in deep water. It's not a boat!
Just follow the maintenance work religiously and your BF will last longer than you

Thanks guys! Glad to hear that I haven't hurt it! 4 hours and about 46 miles so far. Unfortunately, I have to leave on a business trip tomorrow, so 4 days without riding, coming up. :-(
