Exclamation "belt" warning light on brute force ??

the belt warning light is lit on my 06 brute force, I do not have the owners manual. does this mean there is water in the housing or that the belt is worn out ???only has 700 miles on it. it came on right after I got stuck in a water/mud hole.

You may have to do the "Procedure" as it is called.

Read and learn. http://forums.atvconnection.com/kawa...elt-light.html

TURNING OFF "only" is not the real fix. It's like CHECK ENGINE light comes on your car and you are putting a piece of black tape on it.

There is a reason why the the light came on. You need to find out why and DO something about it. Then, the final step should be TURNNING OFF the light.
