What has the dealer tried in an attempt to fix the leak?
Is front or rear?
Is always the same spot leaking on all 3 times, or different place each time?

Replace the o-ring yourself. Its very easy. Be sure and put a special kind of oil on it before you re install. Its for rubber o rings, it lubricates but does not eat through it.

It's hard to believe that dealer mechanic installed o-ring is leaking again and again... How difficult can it be?

Special kind of oil??? I've never heard this before. I just use plain grease or engine oil to lubricate the o-ring to make it slippery so it doesn't get pinched when installing it. What kind of oil would eat through the rubber O-ring?

I'm with Hayashi.

If it is just a valve cover gasket, then a factory tech should be able to fix that in his sleep. If that is where the leak is coming from, then you need to check how that cover seats. If the cover is warped, or worse, the head is warped then that could cause the continual leak. I'm not sure of the shape of the the valve cover or the the area where it seats, but try to check how true the mating surfaces are. Find something you know is flat, put the cover on that and shine a flashlight from behing (or some other lightsource). If you see light under the cover, it is warped. If you don't see any light, use a metal ruler on the head to see if it is flat.

Overheating, or improperly torqued bolts can cause the head or cover to warp.

I also have never heard of engine oil eating a valve conver gasket. That is what the gasket is designed to hold in! You don't seal something with a gasket material that is eaten easily by the item you are trying to seal!

My two cents...take it for what it is worth...
