im thinking of buying a 1996 kawasaki bayou 300 for $400.
it needs a seat, the valves might need adjusted, and the cover that goes over the pullstart is missing> my question is is it worth 400$.

and about how much will getting the valves adjusted cost.

 

I bought a non running 96 bayou 300 4x4 and rebuilt the entire engine and new wiring harness and did it all myself and it runs great. All in all i paid $300.00 for it and dumped another $400.00 into it. Does it run? i personally would say yes and get a service manual and do the work yourself and look for parts on Ebay. Thats what i did but i needed a ton of parts.

 

any more info by tomorrow would be great i go to look at it tomorrow
