I just picked up a non-running 185 Bayou. I have gone through the electrical and someone did some modification and spliced some wires. Can any body assist me with the wiring diagrams for a one of these. I think they are the same from 85 to 88. I am having heck of a time trying to find any. Thanks

Here is one I found for a 220. It is near the same as a 185 with some minor differences. What I found so far is the alternater is 3 wire instead of two on the 185. Everything else I needed to fix was the same.

 

I used to have a 185 Bayou......machine was built to take a beating. I don't think I have any of my service manuals anymore, but I will look for them. It might have something useful for you.....
