Default How are Mojaves, in general?

Theres one down the road from me that I think could be picked up super cheap since it's pretty rough. Are there any known problem areas to pay particularly close attention to?

Theyre a good small quad, a little heavy because of reverse, but they run like a bat out of hell. How much is cheap?

They had $800 on it, but it didn't last a day. Oh well, wasn't meant to be, I guess.

They're pretty heavy regardless of reverse. I lifted one at a dealership and darn near threw my back out!

They have alot of useless accessories on them. I took alot of that off mine. Its still heavy, but every little thing helps

Default my mojave

hi, im a new member and a new atv owner, i just got a 2000 mojave from a good friend that moved away for 200 bucks! its alittle beat up and needs a few hundred put into it but runs and drives great! ive had a couple issues with the carb popping off ,not sure if it was just loose or was some kind of back pressure. its fast as hell, could use some more top end speed though, seems like it only goes about 50-60 but i havent had a speedo test or anything. i love it anyway. theres one up the road for sale for 1300. i figure i got a good deal, ive put in probly 60-70 hours on it in the past 6 weeks. id buy another one and i may.see one online for 450 and it was 4 years newer. id like something big and 4x4 also but this one cures the itch. im gonna buy my 5 year old a 50cc wheeler now,he loves to ride with me so much.

I just bought a 2001 Mojave about 5 months ago and i LOVE it. It has the ability to be driven like a utility and the handling of a sport quad. The best part about it is its liquid cooled instead of those crappy are cooled engines. I also love the reverse because it is so easy to opperate. Hope you enjoy this quad.
