I am thinking of purchasing this bayou but the seller doesn't know what year it is or size of engine, wanting to know before I drive all the way over there. Thanks

 

I don't see a speedo/odo cluster between the bars. This machine otherwise is very similar to my 1993 with the exception of the 4x4 graphic . I would think a dealer could tell you with the VIN #

 

bayous are either 220cc or 300cc. the 4x4's are 300cc

 

I have a 1993 Bayou 400 4x4 KLF400-B1.
It says Canadian model on my owners manual.

 

Here are the spec for the ATV. No matter what year I don,t think the 300 Bayuo changed much mechanicailly wise ,maybe plastics and graphics thats all.

Looks like early-mid 90's either 300 or 400 semi-auto trans Bayou. There is a vin stamped on the frame near the front A-Arm suspension pivot area on the RIGHT side.

Doesn't the seller have the ownership paper (pink slip) or registration with the VIN? If the seller doesn't know what size engine, year or have any of those paper, something's too fishy.
