Try going up a hill from 900 feet to 2,400 feet and you will want the 650. The 400 does it good but you're not going to be keeping up with the those sport bikes.

The posi lever has to be help. But you do not need or do you want to ride around with the front diff locked. It would steer so hard your arms would be worn out in no time from turning. I have a Prairie 400 4X4 and it does just fine. There have been a FEW time that lever would have come in great.

I think somebody is having their leg pulled. The Prairie has not been released, so its not possible that someone in Alabama owns own.

It may not have been released to the public, but I have seen 2 of these myself. There are some out there. I would love to talk to someone that has ridden one.
