Default kfx 700 suspension

I have a 05 kfx 700 and was wondering if anyone knew the best way to soften up the suspension, how to get to the adjuster or also what the nitrogen container is on the back spring. Thanks

Have you tried turning the notched ring on the shock?

Stock suspension on the KFX is ver poor. You can turn the jam nuts on the springs but that will only soften a bit and lower the atv. Essentially it's the shocks and not the springs. Buying aftermarket shocks is a night and day difference.

Call Garrett at 1-225-278-4040. He'll tell you what you need.

An inexpensive way to go is to buy a set of the Road Magnet Springs from Mike at BWoodyPerformance. He has had Road Magnet (a company that makes custom suspension springs) make some front & rear springs for the KFX700 that have a lot softer spring rate. I have a set on one of my KFX700's and I like them a lot. They are not the ride of Elkas, I am sure, but they are WAY better than the stock springs.

Contact Information for springs:
BWoody -410-676-1042 (ask for mike)
Road Magnet - 410-686-9100 (ask for keith)

See this link.
