Have the chance to buy a 1985 KAWASAKI BAYOU 220, price seems to be good enough $500, but it needs a couple of things, a new battery and 2 front tires, they are no problem, but when I drove it today it felt really loose in the front end, and wanted to pull to one side, there is quite a bit of wobble when i shook the front tires, do you think the front end problems would be wheel bearings, or kingpins, I also noticed the track rod had a slight bend it it, looked like it had hit a rock.

 

i just bought a 1996 bayou 220 for $400 it needed a battery and 2 front tires and a rear axle bearing. it pulling to side is just tire air pressure like 10 PSI in the right back tire and 7 PSI in the left rear tire it will pull left with scary amounts of power. and the loose wheels is the wheel bearings i got a set of 6 bearings 4 front both sides of the front and 2 for the rear axle for $30 Canadian shipped off ebay no big deal. with 7 PSI in all 4 tires and the new bearings it handles like a dream compared to before.

 

the first year they made the 220 was 88 just wanted 2 warn u before u started looking up parts
