If you are close to an oil change, then I would change the oil and make sure it is at the proper level. If it doesnt go out from there...then I would check the sending unit to make sure the wires are connected good. I have not seen this on my sons so after that, if it were me, I would have it checked over. Maybe someone else will chime in on this as well and might have more experience with this happening.

> Do not ride the quad until problem is resolved.
> Oil pressure should be 60+ psi at 4200 rpm.
> Open the valve clearance check cover and check for oil splashing if you don't know how or don't have right tool to check oil pressure.
> Drain oil and check for metallic debris. To be 100% sure, you should send out to oil analysis lab ($8 to $20).
> Check oil pump rotors for damage.
> Check oil sump filter screen (clogged up).
> If ALL comes out good and problem still exists, check the Oil Pressure Relief Valve. That can fall off and the oil pump can't build up the pressure needed.
Get the factory service manual to get the job done right.
