Prairie 360 valve adjustment - just do it
#1
I bought a 2005 360 4x4 last year. It'll start right up, no matter the temperature, but will then stall if I llet off the choke and/or throttle too soon. It's then quite a pain to restart.
I bought a new 360 4x4 and asked the service tech about the aforementioned starting problem. He suggested that it could be the valves. His explanation made sense, as to why this could be the problem. He was right! After adjusting them the problem went away.
Moral of the story - adjust those valves - it's relatively painless and doesn't cost anything but your time.

Tight valve is a well known common problem on 360 even when new possibly due to tight setting from the factory. Luckily it is so easy to check/adjust on the 360, unlike other v-twn Kawi quads where you have to remove bunch of parts to access the valve inspection cover which is a major PIA.

Even if you can,t find your ATV and find another make or model ATV it will give you the "how to" of it since there done the same way. You just have to know you valve clearance number of the 360.
Here is the one I used on my 350 Grizzly.
