What year did the BF 750 get fuel injection?

Did the I designation mean it was IRS rear or did the older Brutes have IRS before also? I'm looking around for my son who wants to get something that rides better with a little more speed than his ATP, and doesn't have a carb. It does have a brutal ride. The swing arm rear axle with 400 lb. rating is a kidney buster.

Look for decal saying "FUEL INJECTION" on the BF750 at following places:
> Below handle bar on the center plastic cover.
> Above Left rear wheel on the rear fender.
> Above Right rear wheel on the rear fender.
You can't miss them.
That's a lot easier to identify whether the BF750 is carbed or injected than trying to figure out it has a 5.0 or 5.4 gal fuel tank (and you will never know just by looking at them).
