Default What year did the BF 750 get fuel injection?

Hey, all you Kawi fans. I have a question. I saw a new but not sold 2007 Brute Force 750 that is advertised as a Brute Force 750I. Did they have fuel injection that far back? Thanks.

The 08's were the first to get EFI. One way to tell is by the size of gas tank ( 5.4 gal no EFI) (5.0gal has EFI)

Did the I designation mean it was IRS rear or did the older Brutes have IRS before also? I'm looking around for my son who wants to get something that rides better with a little more speed than his ATP, and doesn't have a carb. It does have a brutal ride. The swing arm rear axle with 400 lb. rating is a kidney buster.

Look for decal saying "FUEL INJECTION" on the BF750 at following places:
> Below handle bar on the center plastic cover.
> Above Left rear wheel on the rear fender.
> Above Right rear wheel on the rear fender.
You can't miss them.

That's a lot easier to identify whether the BF750 is carbed or injected than trying to figure out it has a 5.0 or 5.4 gal fuel tank (and you will never know just by looking at them).

Okay, from what I can see the one on sale isn't fuel injected. I'll keep looking. Thanks for the replies gents.
