2006 was ridding it and blew white cloud of smoke, checked valves and the air cleaner was full of oil, valves were to tight readjusted them, but this is the second time of adj, the valves with in 3 weeks, any idea's

now was the smoke WHITE or BLUE? WHITE would indicate a blown headgasket causing coolant to burn in the combustion chamber, BLUE smoke would indicate oil being burnt in the combustion chamber, possibily caused by bad piston rings or bad valve seals. did the smoking just randomly start? and oil in the airbox sounds like the breather from the valve cover(if it runs into the airbox) is spitting oil out and its soaking the air filter and causing the engine to burn oil. but like stated before that would cause BLUE somke.

its white smoke but is not coolant, it smells like oil and yes just started was racing my buddy he said he saw a puff of white smoke i slowed down and bike stalled, started right back up but like i said the vavels were tight again, i just got the bike it did not run i adj valves and got it going, that was 3 weeks ago

Answers are in your own words.
The 700 is known to push up crankcase oil into the air box and it goes right into the carbs' intake when running at high rpm. You said you were racing your buddy?
Once the valve seats on the head get hammered on due to tight valve clearance (damage already done), the valves would tighten up again. Time for a valve job on the head. You said the valves got tight again after adjusting them only 3 weeks ago?

Im not sure i understand if the valves were to tight, how would it hammer on the head since they could not close all the way, how would it cause damage, i could see if ther were to losse cause head damage but they were to tight, since adj them it no longer smokes but u can hear valve tap
