ive been doing some mods temp guage/ oil cooler/ synthetic oil/ high flo dasa waterpump impellor, i dropped my temp to where it wont go over 190 but now i have coolant coming from tube under impellor housing its a 2" piece of hose then what looks like a inline fuel filter running through skidplate, all my coolant comes from this till empty, did i disconnect something by accident?? maybe gasket leaked?? schematic shows this& calls it vent ,would like to hear any advice, thanks

 

im guessing i somehow damaged the seal behind the impellor it was fine before has anyone removed these seals? im ready to tear it apart again ive been up all night thinking ive caused a major problem

 

got it fixed ,it was the old seal pressed into back of old pump that i didnt see, rode it couple hours fan still kicks on alot, runnin bout 215 while idling bout 195 as long as im movin still seems hot for all the mods to cool it better

 

Have you tried using Engine Ice as for the coolant which is known to bring down the temp by 20 to 40F? It's expensive like $20/gal though.

 

I have never used Engine Ice but Water Wetter works great!

im runnin water wetter now, dasa performance waterpump, oil cooler, fresh oil change- full synthetic oil,dynatek cdi, did the temp guage first and i hit 235 idling in bout 10-15 minutes with fan running now it hit 210 or so, fan quickly drops it back to 195& shutts off, this is idling, riding it never hits over 200, so i guess i am alot better than i was
