Lakota lost the shootout

In the latest issue of Dirtwheels the honda250ex beat the lakota and 250 trailblazer. Since i am not into bashing quads i have nothing to say...However i have ridden the new 250ex and did not feel that for 200.00 less it was the better machine.

In the new issue of 4 wheel action, they had the Lakota vs 250ex shootout. With the Lakota losing its hard to believe that they are not biased. the Lakota's 61cc bigger engine produces less overall power, the hondas drum brake scored just as high as Lakotas disc, this one cracks me up the most-"the reverse selection ease" test. On the honda its push in lever-mounted "R" button, pull in left brake lever and shift down. On the Lakota its turn console mounted ****, then shift down. The Lakota's sounds easier to me, but they scored the exact same. HMM? Dont think I'm bashing Honda because I'm not, I have owned several Hondas and liked them very much. Just my opinion. Take care, Bryan

Kawasaki was lame for even trying that Lakota crap. UPDATE it, don't just throw the racks away and call it a sport quad. They are dragging this thing out for too long. Bring out something new, REALLY new. I wouldn't buy either one of those two, they're just too small. Have you seen the 250 EX up close? Super-small quad to say the least.
The reverse is easier on the Lakota, though. My Bayou has the same set-up, I think. I can put it in reverse faster than anything out there.
Don't ever believe anything you read in those mags. They are full of sh*t 90% of the time!
