igniter testing?
#2
The only known good way to test the igniter is following:
1. Install the suspected/bad one in a known good running machine & test.
2. Install a known good igniter in the bad running machine & test.
See whether the problem still exists or not.
But I think your igniter is good. Igniter is like a match stick. It either fires up or doesn't.

Thanks for the reply but I have fond the problem. It was nothing to do with the ignition but the cam gears were moving on the cam. The previous owner had attemted to do some thing inside the motor and broke the tabs off the cams. Runs great and has a happy owner.

Good to hear that Mojave is running good.
In my experience igniter doesn't go bad oftent at all unless there was some kind of major electrical catastrophe. And lots of problmes are causd by the owner than anything else.
