Hi everyone I have been having issues with starting my bayou 220 and keeping it running, when i press the start button it will start just like it should, but when i let off the start button it immediately shuts off, if anyone has any suggestions please comment thanks.

 

My Bayous have been parked over 10 years Put in new battery and Electric Start switch works on neither and also the headlights don't work on one.

Is there an easy way to take apart the carburetor without taking off plastic body??

 

Have you tried pull starting it? I've never heard of this problem before, so I kind of doubt it's electrical but more of a fuel or ignition problem. If it runs off the recoil, then it's electrical.

sorry to ask but would a 220 bayou rebuild carb kit fit a 87 185 bayou carb
