Default Intake Manifold Leak On Bayou 300

My 2001 Kawasaki Bayou 300 has a vacuum leak at the Intake Manifold. Manifold was dissassembled, contact surfaces cleaned, and a coat of silicon gasket sealer was used in an attempt to seal the air gap.... Didn't work. Engine will start and idle, but dies with any attempt to throttled up. Spraying ether or B12 at intake manifold will cause engine to rev. Any suggestions on sealing an ATV manifold vacuum leak? Thanks, Jim
