Default Bayou 220 fuel problem

Have a 1995 Bayou and a few hours after it is ridden it starts leaking fuel out of the black tube coming from the bottom of the carb (float bowl?) It will continue to leak until the tank is empty if I don't turn off the fuel. Anybody know what the problem is and how to fix it? (the tube attaches to a fitting at the bottom of the carb that goes about an inch up into the carb above the floats). Thanks

I just had this same problem with my 02 220. I rebuilt the carb and it hasnt leaked any gas so far. Carb rebuild kits are relatively cheap also.. ranging from 12 bucks and up. Btw what causes this is the float gets stuck so you will need to grab some carb cleaner and clean the pin and float

In your case, probably all you need is either cleaning or replacement of the rubber tipped float bowl valve that is not seating correctly and letting in fuel into the float bowl continuously. Loosen 4 screws, remove the float bowl and inspect the valve and the float assembly.

I have a bayou 220 and have worked on many other machines. My main thought is that the floats are stuck or the fuel line is on a vent line, believe it could happen. If the float is stuck the gasoline comes of of vent lines and flood your wheeler. If the lines on a vent that could happen to. One other thing is the drain screw on the bottom could be loose
