ive recently got a new kawasaki klf 300 2006 model quad ,trading in my old klf 300 both 4 x 4 .new one seams to be low in power and lacking in speed bike tops out at 35mph and seams to miss when it gets to this speed .
i think there might be dirt in the carb ,when i got the bike it conked out and after an investigation found fuel tank contaminated with dirt .
ive stripped out tank and cleaned fuel gauzes and stripped petcock and fuel flowing freely now from pipe going to carb .
i dropped the fuel from card 4 or 5 times yesterday and some dirt came out the first 2 times then clean fuel only the last 3 times but bike still not running better .
bike just bean fully serviced

any ideas
