Default LT160A carb size/style-help

well, got another project 3 wheeler. according to the VIN sticker, 1985 LT160A three wheeler. it's missing the carburetor. my internet searches have revealed nothing on what size/style carb i need. can someone point me in the right direction? the only thing left where the carb used to be is the cable & slide & where it clamps on to the manifold. do i measure the intake to the airbox and manifold? dang, i ain't got any calipers.

finding a carb for this trike is killing me. found out that it's a Mikuni VM22SS. apparently a few machines share the carb, which seems to be obsolete on the shelves, i just don't know what can interchange with it. one website claims the YFZ350 banshee, suzuki ALT185F, 185/200 honda trike, 200TRX, and a 185 KLT/Bayou use the same carb. is this true? man, i'm beginning to wonder if this 3 wheeler is going to be worth fixing even though it's in good shape for a 1985. thanks.........

got a mikuni carb with a hand pump on the side, the throat will fit the flanges. i've only seen this style on suzukis(late 80s early 90s 125cc-185cc). do you reckon it'll work on this kawasaki trike? and if so, do i plumb the hand primer overflow to the atmosphere seeing how i don't have a return into the tank? i'm presuming it'll be enough to feed the 160cc engine unless somebody changes my mind! thanks.........

alright, if anyone out there in ATV land has a 1985 bayou or a trike like this post has described, i'm needing a couple of pictures of the carb and fuel pump. can't find a new one as this item has been discontinued, OEM part #15001-1264. so, i am going to an atv boneyard to try and find one, BUT, the exploded views only do so much, i am needing pictures to compare. all help is appreciated! i tried to stab a suzuki 185 carb in it, only to start the trike up for 10 secs, but hey, it runs! i just need to get the right parts. thanks again for the help!
