my nabor has a 300 4x4 and it has been sitting for atleast 2 maybe 3 years and im not sure how it was running when he put it away but i finaly got him motivated to take it out it kicked over fast 1 or 2 pulls with the compresseion release off but then died so we jumped it with his truck (his battery is totally shot no juice at all)i got it to my house cuz i guess im the only 1 in my town with tools cuz we always end up working in my garage so i get it home traveling at break neck speed of 3 mph to my house which includes going on a 2 lane highway (rt.6) for about a mile. so i cleaned the carb really good and started it so now it wil randomly let u rev it in neutral but some times will just bog.. but will not rev at all in gear.. i did notice a wire that was amongst other wires that were connected to the bottom of the carb but 1 isnt connected to anything.... and im wondering if the battery totaly shot have to do it with it wouldnt be the first time a batt has cause issues like that for me.
