My 06 brute has had an issue with the speedometer not working on and off for awhile now. then the last time i rode it the cooling fan stopped working, the circuit breaker under the seat wasnt getting power. after chasing wires and looking for chaiffed or broken wires with nothing i finally found the problem. there is a junction connector on the frame rail above the fuel tank right by the filler neck. it is all rapped up in electrical tape but, IT IS NOT A SEALED CONNECTOR!!! anyone with half a brain knows what happens to an unsealed connector on a wheeler that goes in water in mud. needless to say i removed the fuzzy green connector and repaired it properly and sealed the hell out of it and all my problems were fixed. i hope this might help somebody, goodluck
