Default Mojave project.

Hey everyone, I just picked up this Mojave the other day for a project. It's torn apart right now, I already ordered a carb kit, and I'm wondering what kind of air filter I should order? I'll have a lot of questions too once I tear into it over xmas break haha.

So which type air filter do I order? Also where can I find the gasket from the intake to carb? I'll probably update with more questions too. Here's a quick crappy cell pic-

Hey, sorry no one has answered your question yet they are usally pretty good about answering , ( probably after I try to help you, you"ll get all kinds of answers contradicting me ) but that's a whole other story , anyway I just did a Mojave basket case and your better of going stock on the air box if all the pieces are there, if not K&N makes a really good filter but if you go this route you will have to mess with the jetting on your carb (no fun). As far as parts go if you go to cyclepartsnation.com, they have really good prices and exellent service also they have really good exploded views of parts needed. Unfortuanetly the rear shock on these bikes are pretty much junk also non-rebuildable yours is probably shot if it's sagging , you can adjust them quite a bit with the lock-nut adjusters. I was lucky and found a decent one on e-bay ( I got alot of parts for my bike there ). When rebuilding your carb take care to follow the directions carfully these are vacuume carbs and kind of touchy if not adjusted properly. One last thing please by a manual for this bike they have them on e-bay for 25-30 bucks it's a really good investment because the advice you get on this fourm is many times opinion more than fact.
